Drew Allyn is a writer/director from Southfield, Michigan who aims to tell authentic and introspective stories about communities and our relationships within them.

 

After moving from Southfield to Los Angeles, Drew Allyn wrote and directed the short film ‘The Moon Bird’, which screened at various festivals including the Micheaux Film Festival and the Culver City Film Festival.

 

 

Allyn is an alumna of the Mentorship Matters BIPOC Writers Initiative and most recently, he was selected as one of four screenwriters for The Craft Institute's inaugural Writers Residency.

 

 

Currently, Allyn is Showrunner’s Assistant on an upcoming season of Apple TV’s FOUNDATION, where he'll be co-writing an episode of its fourth season.
